Nodejitsu maintains over 300 open-source libraries with thousands of GitHub followers. We believe in the power of open-standards and open-source software. As an Open-Source Intern you will help maintain and improve these projects and their surrounding ecosystem of documentation, tutorials and community.

- Best practices for writing Node.js code, documentation, and unit tests
Responsibilities
- Triage issues for Nodejitsu open-source projects
- Improve documentation and test coverage for Nodejitsu open-source projects
- Write open-source Node.js code
Requirements
- Experience using Git and GitHub
- 1-year of Node.js or Javascript programing experience
- Strong written English and experience writing technical documentation
Preferred
- Active member of the Node.js community
- Experience with Nodejitsu Open Source projects: flatiron, hook.io, etc.
- Author of existing Node.js modules published to npm
